  1. Check out Mrs. Cassidy's blog. It's full of excellent examples of literacy learning and teaching in Grade 1: teacher work, student work, and snapshots/videos of the learning environment. This is one to keep up with, just to get a picture of how learning unfolds in grade 1 across the year.

  2. I loved having these websites available. My favorite was ABCya. The website had the games categorized by grade, and the titles explained what they were. I thought it was very useful to find games that related toward my lesson plans. Thank you for having them available for an easy find.

  3. I really liked the link to the bbc games where the there were 3 stories to choose from that are read to the child. One reason I like the site is because the child is pulled into the story by being asked to do things for the characters in the story, like finding his pencil and acorns. You guys did a great job with the site!

  4. I think that it is a great idea to include these websites. Children are increasingly becoming interested in computers at all ages. Having these resources available allows the student to use a tool they are interested in while still learning something. My favorite is the Bookr website.
